View into the studio
The inspiration / sketch is mostly created in nature. Then it`s off to the studio: First I shape the body. Then the face, hands and feet are molded from polymer clay. Here the figure develops its character… My hair / breads are made of mohair. I use only glass eyes… than comes the colour: each doll is hand- painted to get its skin complexion. Now the clothes. Every dress every pair of trousers, every hat, every shoe is sewn by hand; shawls or scarves are individually crocheted.All of my dolls are made from high quality materials!
